Fiverr vs Microworkers vs Clickworkers Review 2023. How to Earn Cash with Digital and Freelance Jobs?

Fiverr vs Microworkers vs Clickworkers Review

Remote working has been a popular trend in recent years. Three of the world’s best online marketplaces where you can showcase your skills and get paid for the work you do are FiverrClickworker, and microworkers.

Knowing how to make money on these platforms can offer endless work opportunities, giving you a reliable income stream from any part of the world.

These sites are micro job sites that list tasks that can be done quickly on the Internet. You don’t have to apply for each job type, but you do have to take assessment tests to make sure you’re a right fit for the tasks at hand.

A general misconception is that these micro jobs platforms pay $5. However, this is not true, as you can make thousands of dollars depending on your experience and the service you’re offering.

Keep reading to learn how to make money on this platform and learn about top lucrative gigs to sell on the platform.

What’s great?

  1. Easy, quick sign up.
  2. You can start immediately.
  3. No skill assessments/tests are needed to start. (Microworker and Clickworkers)
  4. Tasks are separated into different categories for easier filtering.
  5. Every task is optional, and you can see it before accepting.

So what do they pay for?

  1. Freelance Work
  2. Digging, Buzzing, or Stumbling Upon articles
  3. Signing up for FREE sites
  4. Viewing ads
  5. Commenting in posts
  6. Writing articles
  7. Linking sites

How much do they pay?

It depends.

Out of the three platforms, Fiverr is definitely the one where you can make more money. Fiverr initially began as a platform offering gigs for only a fiver ($5), where the name originated. As of today, gigs can be priced at up to $995.

According to a recent report by Priceonomics, 96.3% of sellers on Fiverr make less than $500 or less per month, with the majority (70%) making less than $100. It’s estimated that only 1% of sellers are earning $2,000 or more per month.

As of 2021, there are more than 830,000 freelancers. In short: there’s a lot of competition and a low statistical likelihood of earning much. It is possible, though. This Forbes article interviewed three people that make six figures a year on Fiverr. To be clear: these people are an anomaly. They made it to Forbes for a reason. They are probably in the top 0.01% of earners.

Clickworker and Microworkers tasks can earn you anything from a few cents each to several Euros / Dollars. It’s tough to predict an average hourly rate as it varies considerably on how much work is available, whether you qualify for it, and how quickly you can do it.

Interestingly, Clickworker used to predict an hourly rate in the region of $9 per hour, or “well over $10” with experience and concentration. When I re-checked the FAQs in September 2020, the company seems to have removed this bold prediction and given a more realistic projection of variable earnings.

Micro working platforms aren’t a place where you’ll earn “megabucks.” However, if you find a task you enjoy doing, and there are plenty of those tasks available, you can get into making money that represents a reasonable hourly rate. The more complex the job is, the more you’ll get paid.

Best Microjobs Sites

1. Fiverr

Fiverr - earn money as a freelance

Fiverr is a leading online marketplace that offers several services referred to as “gigs.” It’s a platform where freelancers can list and advertise their digital services to buyers all over the world.

There are many gigs in different categories, including programming, digital marketing, lifestyle, graphics and design, and more. Whether you’re a writer, a web developer, or a virtual assistant, you can make money on Fiverr doing what you love.

The lowest acceptable charge per gig is $5, partly explaining why the platform is called Fiverr. However, that doesn’t mean you should charge $5 — that’s just the base pay. Fiverr hosts some of the best deals for freelance work in most industries, from copywriting to logo design, some for as little as $5! But with mixed reviews and no freelancer screening process, it’s understandable if you have some doubts.

PROS

  • The platform will pay you if the buyer doesn’t.
  • You have the freedom to work with clients all over the world.
  • You could earn tips.
  • It’s a good way for beginners to showcase their potential since most tasks are easy to complete.

CONS

  • Buyers aren’t verified.
  • Competition is stiff.
  • Fiverr deducts 20% of sellers’ earnings, including tips.
  • It takes 14 days for Fiverr to clear earnings.

2. Clickworkers

Clickworker - earn from home doing simple tasks

Clickworker is a website where you can carry out minor work tasks for small payments. Clickworker also has an app so you can complete tasks on the go. Tasks on Clickworker include data-entry style work, taking photos, and training Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems.

The idea is that you can dip in and out of the work as and when you have time, which makes it a great home working option for anyone who wants a little side income. Most tasks require no special skills, so this is an excellent entry-level home working option to look into.

For people willing to grind away at work, it’s possible to put the hours in and earn real money from Clickworker – but only when the work is available. It’s worth emphasizing that the level of work available on the platform tends to wax and wane, so there are two essential things to learn from this:

ClickWorker claims to have a task force of about 700,000 workers with about 10-15% of that US-based.

Now I’m sure you want to know exactly how much you get paid. The amount varies by the tasks. A majority of the jobs pay in cents; however, they generally take very little time to do. So the more tasks you get done, the more money you’re gonna make.

And like I stated before, you don’t need a doctoral degree to do the tasks – they’re pretty simple as long as you follow the directions.

PROS

  • Work is always available on this website. It can be easily accessible from our desktop and mobile devices.
  • They have an excellent customer support team, and they get back to you every time with the proper assistance.
  • Pay is decent, and once you have a verified Paypal account, it's easier to set up automatic payments.
  • You have the freedom to work with clients all over the world.

CONS

  • If you don't keep up with the guidelines, you are disqualified from continuing on the tasks.
  • Sometimes work is rejected, and no explanation is given as to what can be done to improve or avoid in the future.
  • You can’t depend on sites like this for permanent, ongoing work.

3. Microworkers

Microworkers logo

¿What is Microworkers all about?

Microworkers is about connecting people who need something done (Employers) with people who want to help (Workers). These “things that need to be done” are called “micro jobs”.
Workers get paid when their Employer rates the task submitted as "satisfied." When workers log into their accounts, they can check the status of various tasks they have submitted. If a task is marked "not satisfied" by the Employer, you (the Microworker) will not get paid. If a task is marked "satisfied," you will get paid.

Workers can withdraw earned money through several different methods: PayPal, Check, Moneybookers, etc., and it takes up to 15 business days to process the payment.

PROS
  • The Microworkers site has a professional and attractive layout, and it’s easy to navigate.
  • They pay a dollar into your Microworker’s account just for joining.
  • Some of the Microworkers jobs on the Microworkers site pay better than on other sites.
  • When you look at the list of  Microworker's jobs available on the Microworkers site, they tell you what proportion of workers who’ve done a job previously have been successful. This is a handy tool if you want to make money, as it can help you to decide if you're going to take that job or not.
  • Microworkers' payments go into your Paypal account.

CONS

  • There aren’t that many Microworkers jobs available
  • There aren’t a lot of medium-paid Microworker jobs ($1 or $2) where you just have to fill out a survey or write a short article on the Microworkers site, in my experience.
  • You can’t access any of your earnings until you reach the minimum withdrawal rate, which is $10.
